Literature Text

A child coughs I stoke the flame
Bundled in transparent furs
Bound with snow white lies
She sins again
Not twice but once was all it took
To cause this bloody storm
The red blazing cold in her eyes
Feel the howling hateful hurricane
I have grown tired of trying to fly kites in such weather,

Spoiled child yellow, pointed, gnashing teeth
Venomous spittle flies
In rabid eyes she comes.
Raging about the game
Another storm looms I won’t play today

The Screaming child coughs,
I drink my tea
The Screaming child cries,
I read my book
The child screams,
I shut the door
Tonight I will walk these luminous streets
Listening to the gentle breeze
I will quit this storm
And look for Peace tomorrow.....
